• Our first session is about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping to get out of it, and whether it feels like a good fit on both sides. There’s no pressure to “have it all figured out.”

  • I generally meet with clients once a week at a consistent day and time. I’ve found that having a regular weekly rhythm creates the best foundation for meaningful, sustained progress. We’ll pick a time that works for both of us and hold it as your ongoing spot. That said, we can talk about what makes sense based on your schedule, goals, and needs.

  • Not at all. Some people come in with a clear goal, and others just know that something feels off. Therapy can help you figure out what matters most and where to begin.

  • I offer therapy sessions virtually using a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform through SimplePractice. All you need is a quiet space and a stable internet connection. Many clients find virtual therapy to be just as meaningful as in-person, with the added convenience of flexibility.

  • Sessions are 45 minutes long and cost $150.  All payments are handled securely through SimplePractice. You’ll enter your card information in your client portal, and it will be charged automatically after each session.

  • I’m not currently in-network with insurance, but I can provide a monthly superbill you can submit for possible out-of-network reimbursement. If you're not sure whether your plan offers this, I’m happy to guide you through the questions to ask your insurance provider. I’m also in the process of getting credentialed with a few major insurance panels, and I’ll update this section as soon as that changes.

  • I ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. If something last-minute comes up, I’ll always do my best to accommodate, but sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to the full session fee.

  •  I offer individual therapy and couples therapy for adults. My work focuses on life transitions, relationship patterns, identity development, and emotional wellness. I do not currently offer family therapy or group therapy.

  • I am licensed to practice therapy in New York. Because I’m providing telehealth services, clients must be physically located in a state where I am licensed at the time of our session.

  • If you’re planning a move, we can talk about your options in advance. I’ll do my best to support a smooth transition, whether that means wrapping up our work together or helping you connect with a new therapist in your new state.

  • All scheduling is handled through your SimplePractice client portal. You’ll be able to view upcoming sessions, request changes, and message me securely through the platform. I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

  • At this time, I only work with adult clients (18 and over). If you're looking for a therapist for a child or teen, I'm happy to provide referrals to trusted colleagues who specialize in that area.
